Digital Processor HAL 2 Rane. A HAL2 Multiprocessor supports 18 in x 18 out audio, with 8 in x 8 out on balanced analog connections, another 8 in x 8 out through RADs, and 2 in x 2 out through AES3 digital audio. The HAL2 applies the same versatile Halogen software interface to venues that don’t need extensive expansion found in the HAL1x. It includes the same abilities to quickly design room combinations, paging systems, distributed music, and automixers with Rane’s “no virtual wiring needed” approach, but in a smaller I/O configuration to meet smaller budgets.
